239Grs., much like most of the pieces in the series, was inspired from everyday use. The designers desired an extension cord that didn’t feel soulless, foreign and generic. This led them to design 239Grs., a three meter extension cord made from a fabric cable and a wooden knob that could be displayed on the table, or rolled on the ground.

246 Grs.

246Grs. is a box made of wooden sides and partition, a metal lid and bottom that can be closed with a rubber band. It can be used to fit pencils, pens, carving/etching utensils, paintbrushes...the possi-bilities are as endless and as specific as its possible owners. Each piece combines different types of wood, making the choice of a specific box an even more intimate and important decision.

A manual mold was constructed in order to create the boxes, assuring that each piece is individually handled by the craftsman creating it. 246Grs. plays on the coldness of the metal vs the warmth of the wood and is designed to be easily carried and manipulated in the hands of its user.
